You Don’t Need Permission to Do Something Extraordinary
By Sam Penny – Coach for the Brave
Permission
There’s something wild that happens the moment you stop waiting.
Waiting for the right time.
Waiting for confidence to arrive.
Waiting for someone to say, “You’re ready.”
But let me say this as clearly as I can:
You don’t need permission to chase something extraordinary.
Most people don’t stay stuck because they lack talent or potential — they stay stuck because they’re waiting for some kind of external green light. A mentor. A sign. A lucky break. Someone to say, “Now’s the time.”
But the bold ones? The ones who actually build, do, and become?
They don’t wait.
- They move before it makes sense.
- They act before the path is clear.
- They start scared.
Because they’ve learned a powerful truth:
✅ Momentum beats motivation
✅ Clarity comes from action
✅ Confidence is earned in the doing
Bravery isn’t a feeling.
It’s a choice. And most of the time? It’s uncomfortable.
But the longer you wait to feel ready, the more you convince yourself that you’re not.
Stop Waiting. Start Moving.
So here’s your reminder this week:
- Stop waiting.
- Start doing.
- Don’t ask for permission.
- Take the damn step.
The only approval you need… is yours.
Let’s make it happen.
